Rulings of slaughtering during Hajj :
(( … فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ … الآية))
A ransom of slaughtering a lamb is required in case the Haji failed to perform a certain rite. The other option in case the Haji is incapable is to fast 3 days during Haj period and 7 upon arrival home by virtue of the Ayah:
In such case one fasts 6th, 7th and 8th days, 5th, 6th and 7th day or 1th, 12th and 13th.
3- الإحصار … فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ….الآية .
In case one became incapable to access the worship areas for any reason (Ehsar this word is physically translated as imprisonment) the ransom varies between a minimum of a lamb and maximum of camel.
The process of slaughtering to make up for any violation must take place in Mecca, only in case of Ehar that one slaughters in the position where he/she was imprisoned.
One who takes Ehram at the Miqat, yet was unable to access A`rafa till the morning of Eid day, he /she must change the Niyah for a Ummrah, perform Tawaf, Sa`y, cuts hair and releases the Ehram. Then if he/she has the Hady, he must slaughter.
